The three day weekend offered a chance, possibly a last chance, for mom and me to finish a quilting project before the baby comes. We planned to make a quilt for a wedding present for a friend, but getting together for a whole weekend of quilting has been difficult. My grandma was a little worried about us getting it finished so she came over to help.
So finally, after three days, three dogs, and three generations of quilters all in one room, we had a finished project. I will reserve photos of the entire quilt until we get it quilted, but here are some photos of our quilting sequestration.
It is good to get that project off our lists and it was nice to spend some time with my mom and grandma. Watson enjoyed the togetherness, but he was happy to get home where he could lounge in his own chair instead of squishing himself under a sewing table.
